About Coco

Coco is a sweet 4-year-old (47lb) pup who has had a journey filled with challenges, but his spirit remains unshaken, and he’s ready for a fresh start in a loving, stable home. Originally surrendered due to a family move, Coco was adopted and returned twice, and then displaced by the Pacific Palisades fire. Despite these ups and downs, Coco’s resilience shines through, and he’s made incredible progress thanks to the care and dedication of his amazing foster family.

Coco’s journey has been supported by BDE, and we’ve been able to connect him with trainers, provide resources for his growth, and support his foster family in their mission to help him succeed. He’s bilingual (he speaks Spanish—¡qué impresionante!) and knows commands like “sit,” “paw,” “other paw,” and “down” in both languages. He’s housebroken, great with kids, and loves car rides—this boy is always ready for adventure! Coco is a big fan of chew toys and, more than anything, loves cuddling with his people.

Despite some challenges in new environments, Coco is eager to thrive with the right adopter who will help him build his confidence and continue his training. He’s looking for a home where he can finally feel secure and loved, and we believe that with the right support, he’ll make an incredible companion. His foster family has worked hard to help him grow, and now it’s time for Coco to find a forever family that’s just as dedicated.

Now, here's the catch: Coco's foster family can't keep him much longer, and we're trying our hardest to avoid sending him back to the shelter. He's come so far and truly deserves to be in a loving, stable home where he can keep shining. Some things that make Coco extra special: He's bilingual- understands english and spanish, he's a total cuddle bug, great with kids, loves car rides,  and he's super smart-knows "sit," "paw," "other paw," and "down" (in TWO languages!)
